Bosal Selects InfoConsulting to Migrate its ERP System to IFS Cloud

Bosal InfoConsulting Joint Press Release

InfoConsulting Press Release - Bosal IFS Cloud Migration

Prague, 28 July 2026 – Bosal, a global engineering and manufacturing company operating in the mobility and energy sectors, has selected InfoConsulting as its partner for the migration of its ERP system from IFS Applications 10, including the Automotive Supply Chain (ASC) extension, to IFS Cloud. The project will be delivered by an international project team from InfoConsulting and Bosal across the Czech Republic, Belgium and the Netherlands. The new solution is scheduled to go live on March 1, 2027.

Bosal’s decision further reinforces InfoConsulting’s growing position as a trusted partner for the digital transformation of manufacturing companies. InfoConsulting is one of only two partners worldwide to hold the highest IFS Elite Partner status and is also the recipient of the IFS Global Channel Partner of the Year award. Drawing on decades of experience in international IFS implementations and migrations, InfoConsulting helps manufacturers deliver transformation projects with a strong focus on long-term sustainability, the use of standard IFS functionality, and maximizing return on ERP investments.

The project marks a significant milestone in Bosal’s long-term digital transformation strategy. By migrating to IFS Cloud, the company will gain a next-generation platform that enables it to benefit from regular product innovations delivered by IFS through its evergreen model. At the same time, the upgrade to IFS Cloud will provide the foundation for the further expansion of IFS solutions across the Bosal Group to unify its ERP platform across all locations.

One of the project’s primary objectives is to maximize the use of standard IFS Cloud functionality while keeping customizations to a minimum. To support this goal, a detailed analysis of Bosal’s existing system customizations (CRIM objects) and business requirements was carried out before the project began. This approach will significantly reduce the scope of custom development, simplify future system maintenance, and prepare the environment for regular IFS Cloud releases.

A key aspect of the project is the transition from the Automotive Supply Chain (ASC) extension to the standard functionality of IFS Cloud. The project therefore includes the design of new business processes, the migration of data from existing ASC objects to new IFS Cloud objects, and validation through a prototype before full implementation. This approach will help minimize project risks and ensure a smooth transition to the new solution.

“We greatly appreciate Bosal’s decision to select InfoConsulting for this strategic project. It reflects our long-term investment in building deep IFS expertise, developing an international delivery model, and understanding the needs of manufacturing businesses—capabilities that deliver real value to our customers. Our goal is not only to successfully deliver the migration to IFS Cloud, but also to create a sustainable ERP environment that is ready to support future growth and continuous innovation. This is exactly the kind of partnership manufacturing companies expect from their technology providers today.”

— Milan Tesař, Sales Director for the Czech Republic and Slovakia at InfoConsulting

“Modernizing our ERP environment is a key part of Bosal’s long-term digital strategy. We were looking for a partner with proven experience in IFS Cloud migrations within an international manufacturing environment and a strong understanding of the specific requirements of the automotive industry. InfoConsulting impressed us with both its IFS Cloud expertise and its track record of delivering similar international projects. Equally important in our decision was the proposed project methodology and its emphasis on maximizing the use of standard IFS Cloud functionality.”

— Wim Van den Bergh, Global IT Program Director at Bosal

The Bosal project represents another significant reference for InfoConsulting among multinational manufacturing companies. It demonstrates the company’s ability to deliver complex transformation projects in international environments and further strengthens its position as one of IFS’s leading global partners. At the same time, it reflects the growing demand among manufacturers for IFS Cloud migrations that prioritize standard IFS functionality, long-term sustainability, and the effective adoption of future innovations.
