I am speaking with Mirosław Kamiński, CEO of InfoConsulting, about the international expansion of the company (recently to China and the United States), plans to enter new markets in Southeast Asia and the Middle East, InfoConsulting’s position in the IFS partner ecosystem, the vision of becoming one of the leading consulting firms, and the development of proprietary tools tailored to the specific needs of the company’s industry sectors and clients.

What is InfoConsulting’s position in the global IFS partner market today? Every year you seem to win the award for the best partner.

InfoConsulting is a global platinum partner of IFS, consistently developing our business, which is recognized in the global IFS ecosystem. In 2024, we were named IFS Global Channel Partner of the Year. Today, we work with clients in several countries and actively support IFS’s global growth strategy. Most importantly, despite our own dynamic growth, we maintain flexibility and focus on high standards of client service.

We are realizing the vision of becoming one of the leading consulting firms in the world. Each of our employees knows that their task is to operate in line with the mission, which is to enhance the efficiency of enterprises using the latest technology.

What distinguishes InfoConsulting’s offering from other IFS partners?

What sets InfoConsulting apart from other IFS partners is the comprehensive approach to digital and business transformation.

We operate globally and long-term—from analysis, through consulting, implementation, to support. We take responsibility for the entire process. This allows our clients to achieve real business effects, not just technological advancement.

Many of our clients have been working with us for years, we build partnership-based, trust-driven relationships. This is the result not only of effective implementations but also of our role as an advisor and innovative partner in development.

Importantly, we do not limit ourselves to implementing IFS systems. We have our own R&D department that develops complementary solutions tailored to the specific needs of our clients’ industries.

In 2024, in Orlando, you mentioned entering the Chinese and American markets. Have these plans come to fruition?

The development of new markets, including the United States and China, is one of our key strategic challenges. Over the past year, we have initiated the first actions and investments in both countries, focusing on building local teams and partnerships.

At the same time, we do not forget where we come from. Poland and the entire Central and Eastern European region remain the foundation of our operations. Interestingly, to a large extent, it is our clients expanding globally, who have become the impetus for expansion. We are expanding our geographical presence for them, to accompany them at subsequent stages of their own development.

So, what is InfoConsulting’s position in Poland?

In Poland, we are a leader in the implementation of IFS systems, both in terms of the number of projects carried out and their complexity and scale. Our offices in Warsaw, Krakow, and Poznań serve as competence centers that support not only local operations, but also coordinate projects carried out for clients worldwide.

From Poland, we lead many international implementations, providing advanced ERP and EAM solutions for companies from various sectors. We particularly support industrial enterprises, but our portfolio also includes clients from the chemical, construction, energy, and service sectors.

Thanks to years of experience and a team of highly qualified specialists, we can execute even the most demanding projects, tailoring solutions to the specifics of each client and supporting their digital transformation.

A year or two ago, you became the exclusive distributor of IFS in South Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. Which country or region are you considering next?

We are currently focusing on analyzing the potential of Southeast Asia and the Middle East countries. Both regions are undergoing intensive economic transformation, with rapidly developing infrastructure, industry, and service sectors. This generates a growing demand for advanced ERP and EAM solutions.

We see a lot of room there to leverage our experience, both in working with international clients, and executing complex transformational projects in demanding business environments. Our goal is to build a lasting presence in these regions based on a proven model. This means a local team, close cooperation with the client, and long-term partnership.

In 2023, InfoConsulting recorded rapid revenue growth and completed over 20 new implementations. What was the year 2024 like?

The year 2024 was another stage of dynamic growth for InfoConsulting. We achieved a 27% increase in revenues, and the number of implementations significantly increased compared to the previous year.

Simultaneously, we are expanding our portfolio with new products such as IFS Ultimo and IFS Assyst, to offer clients even more comprehensive support, including resource management, service, and maintenance. We are consistently building a position as a partner who not only implements technology but supports clients throughout the business transformation cycle.

What did the new projects involve? What do clients expect from you today?

They expect not only the implementation of an ERP system but comprehensive support in business transformation, from process analysis, through implementation, to development and ongoing operational support.

Expectations are clear: flexibility, short implementation time, and maximum business value. Thanks to our experience and project approach, we can realistically respond to these needs.

More and more projects also involve process automation, integration with IoT systems, predictive maintenance, and real-time data analysis.

IFS is currently focusing on Industry AI. How is the industrial sector approaching the use of artificial intelligence?

Interest in artificial intelligence in the industrial sector is enormous. AI is no longer just a trendy term but is becoming a tool that genuinely impacts the efficiency and effectiveness of processes.

Industrial companies are increasingly turning to solutions that support production optimization and offer automatic operational decision recommendations. It is important, however, that AI is not only technologically advanced but also well-embedded in the client’s process and data specifics. In this regard, we support clients by leveraging our experience and industry expertise.

We continuously monitor the latest trends in the AI area and work closely with the IFS.ai team. We regularly participate in training and workshops to provide clients with the most up-to-date and effective solutions.

The IFS.ai platform includes both machine learning and generative language models. The system supports key business areas such as planning, sales, service, maintenance, logistics, and finance. This ensures higher forecast accuracy, decision automation, and acceleration of operational activities.

What trends apart from AI are shaping the ERP market today? Is ESG one of them, for example?

ESG today is much more than just a compliance issue. It has become a real impetus for transforming ERP systems. Clients expect tools that enable them to effectively track carbon footprints, report ESG, and manage supply chains sustainably and transparently.

Simultaneously, the importance of cybersecurity as a key element of ERP systems is growing, especially in the era of digital transformation.

Additionally, in the ERP market, we see growing importance of trends such as:

– cloud and hybrid solutions, which provide greater flexibility and scalability

– business process automation, including RPA (Robotic Process Automation)

– integration with advanced technologies, such as IoT or real-time data analysis

– personalization and User Experience, which facilitate users workflow and increase efficiency.

The latest version of the IFS Cloud platform addresses these needs, extending functionalities in both operational and transactional areas. This allows companies to more effectively achieve business and sustainable development goals.

What actions, products, and services are you currently focusing on, given the shift in approach by management support system providers and the migration towards offering ERP systems as a cloud model?

In light of the dynamic market shift towards ERP systems offering an in the cloud computing model, we are focusing on the comprehensive digital transformation of clients. We support them at every stage of migration and development.

Our actions focus on several key areas:

– Implementing modern IFS Cloud solutions, which combine cloud flexibility with the full functionality of classic ERP systems, thus providing clients with a scalable and secure environment for business management.

– Migration and integration services, which minimize risks and downtime during system transfers to the cloud, and ensure seamless connection with existing IT infrastructure.

– Developing team competencies in the cloud and related technologies, including automation, data analytics, and artificial intelligence. This delivers solutions that address the most complex business challenges.

– Strategic consulting and business transformation support, which helps clients not only implement technology, but primarily builds a competitive advantage based on modern operational models.

In this way, we not only meet the growing expectations of the market but also actively participate in shaping the future of enterprise management with an in the cloud model.
